Default MOT Quetion

Hi All,
Just a quickie......

Just had the SV through it's MOT - no probs other than the rear reflector.

I've never really taken any notice of it, but my number plate is practically covering it up - it is just visible with less than 5mm above the top of the plate. Looking on the rear of the mount, there are no extra holes to indicate it has been moved up.

So my question is.......is it like this as standard (it sure looks that way)?

Thanks chaps and chapesses

Sounds like your plate might have been mounted wrong mate, if that's the case just drill a couple of 3-4mm holes an inch up or so, and remount it

All they've done is stuck me a dirty great wedge of a reflector on the plate.

Not particularly a prob' was just curious.

Cheers

When you book your MOT ask the tester what is acceptable. A lot of them aren't bothered about little details as long as bike's in decent nick and not obviously taking the p1ss. You might have to ring round a few testers to get the answers you want.
