Default Sharples Tyres

Some of you may at some point have had tyres fitted at Sharples Tyres in Bolton. Unfortunately they are now closing and will only be selling wholesale. However, Barney and Lee who did all the fitting etc there are setting up on their own under the name B & C Performance Motorcycle Tyres. They should be up and running in the next few weeks. I can provide contact details for them as soon as they set up.

Mods/Admin - hope you don't mind me posting this plug for a couple of good mates.

Sharples! Yeah I went there not so long ago for a Bridgestone BT020. Great guys, helpful and a reasonable price.

Why they close down?

Management cost cutting apparently. Shame they'll lose loads of ride-in business. Great for my mates that will be setting up by themselves though and providing the same service. 2 of the guys you mentioned (Lee and Barney) will be up and running soon, so I will post details of where they are etc. as soon as its available.

Sure will. I'll be posting up their details once they are up and running so I'll either get you a quote or you can call them direct. Just say Mark with the SV recommended them to you and I'm sure they'll look after you.

Well, Lee was laid off yesterday and Barney is there until Monday I think. As far as I know, they are still doing fit to bikes until Barney leaves, but Im not 100% on that. Might have to check.

Anyway, as far as them setting up on their own, they are going looking at more units today. I think that is the only thing stopping them starting now but once they find somewhere they will be up and running right away.

All info will be posted here as soon as I get it.
