Default Silly questions you get from non-bikers

I've had the following questions asked by non-bikers, actually, the first question was from a biker when we were sitting at lights!

"What is that?"

"Are you sponsored by Cadburys?"

"Did you win it?"

"Do you race that then?"

"You ride that?"

When I was on the SV and stuck at lights I had a biker pull up next to me and say "Nice Can", it sounded kinda rude

Anyone else had similar?

'Why do you do it' (stupid question)

'Don't you get wet in the rain' (moronic question)

'you wouldn't catch me on that for a fortune' (er, no - i'd never let you get on it)

I get comments like "thats a bit big for you!"

I also like the way people ask me what size my engine is, rather than asking how much power it produces. "645cc? blimey! thats gotta go fast!" me: "na, its only got 33bhp" **blank look on questioners face**

I do like the question "how do you go round corners and lean so far over without falling off?"

"well, my dear, come closer and i shall tell you a tale, all about the physics of spinning things....."

Matt

Oh, and my freind couldnt beleive i got so much bike for £1450! He though my SV was at least 5k....i know what sort of people to sell my machine to...

"Have you got a CD player on it?"

"You only have to replace your helmet if you have a FATAL accident..."

(thats not a question but ****ed myself laughing, and dumped the girl who said both of them soon after!)

LOL @ replacing helmet

I always tell people that a helmet should be treated like your head - dont smash it or knock it or damage it in any way unless you have no choice.

Doncha just love the way kids on scooters ride around with their helmets undone?

No - normally "oh isn't it too heavy for you? What happens if you drop it?"

Or if just in my riding gear in a shop - "oh do you ride a little scooter?"

Yeah mate - but the 'little' scooter is just a little too powerful for me to handle as I am a weak and fragile little female totally incapable of doing anything independently......

Grrrrr.............
