Hi!

I'll be attaching a rear brake pedal & front brake lever to my bike this weekend.

Never done anything this "mechanical" before.

Anyone, that's done this sort of thing, want to look over my shoulder & offer advice?

Me, I'd charge at least a one-off entry fee for the comedy show that is me doing anything mechanical. It's kinda like the 'K & Hammer' double act...

... only I've got a sneaky feeling I'm the side-kick.

Great News tho Kinvig - that mean your bike will be back on the road over the weekend?

I will probably be getting my bike from Infinity on Monday, so will pop up and see ya. (hoping they get the part today and get it fitted so I can get it tomorrow tho).

Spoke to my dad, but not only was his in his garage 35 miles west of Aberdeen last week, its green - so thats one Jag crossed off the possibility list.

Met one of the witnesses on Thursday morning.

He said that the police wanted him to come in for a formal statement. It appears that they may "have something". So your ol' man may need his solicitor! ;o)


And K...I'm as nice person. Mostly.

I'm not remotely mechanical but that offer of Jaffa cakes is most temping.
