...and those are US gallons (which are 4/5 of a UK gallon), so it's 80mpg in our money.
I'd like to try it, but who could stay at 37.28 mph long enough to measure it? Tootling around I can get up to 60mpg, more like 50 when giving it some. |

I get about 39mpg on my K3. I managed about 46 when I first got it, I moved up from 125 so I was really nervous. As my confidence has gone up, my mpg has gone down

Have got up to 50mpg (US gallons), normally around 40, combined driving. I ride pretty hard, using the gears to keep the revs above 5K most of the time. At 37 mph in 6th gear. I'm sure the figure would be higher, but the acceleration potential, in a bad situation, would be compromised.
