SV650S 2002 Leovince SBK Evo II slip on - SV650.org

Hello "gurus"

I am planning to buy the Leovince slip (SBK evo II) on and i am interested to know doeas this change have an effect to the fuel/air mixture ??

Currently i have a stock exhaust and valve cleareance is ok carbs are synchronized and spark plugs have the right color so all is well.

If i destroy the original exhaust pipe and replace the end with this slip on the change will be permanent. Does this change add the amount of air so much that mixture adjustment must be done ? At this point i am not changing the jets or the air box.

What about the sounds ? do i get a louder tone (i am not seeking for much more dB) rather darker louder tone of sound...

slip on costs around 220Eur in Germany so it is not too expensive

I`ll reply myself.
Leovince SBK installed, the dB-killer is gone, Dynojet stage one kit with widest jets in, slide holes drilled and air/fuel mixture opened for 3 turns. K&N airfiltter.

Dunno if there is big boost in power, but it is much more fun to drive. Engine runs fairly ok. Sudden back firing but rare exists. Next sprint i`ll take her to dyno for fine tuning.
