Default Gixxers

Does anyone know what the differences are between a K5 Gixxer 750 and a K6 ?

I've already spotted the exhaust

Any major changes to the suspension or engine ?

IIRC correctly the K6 has 41mm diameter forks, but the K5 has 43mm. Both are Showa though. The swingarm is different, the swing arm is longer on the K6 but the overall wheelbase is the same, longer swingarm I think makes for better stability in corners. Also I think the swingarm pivot is higher.

The K6 seat height is lower than the K5 as well. Also the K6 IIRC has a half plastic tank so you cant use a tankbag on it either.

I think it makes a couple more BHP than the K5 as well and is a complete re-design over the K5, Oh and the mirrors are different.

K6 has a slipper clutch, imobiliser, rear hugger engine is all new and allegedly mounted slightly higher to make room for the stubby exhaust collector catalyst.

Style wise the K5 does it for me.

K6 produces a bit more power & torque too I think. The K6 600/750 is surprisingly comfortable, even for old gits like me.
