Default paint and polish

ok, i'm looking at getting my silver sv wheels repainted black and the rims polished and laquered, as i've just ordered a set of discs which are the dogs nuts and i want the wheels looking right so they will stand out. any recommendations of who to use? ta

Why not see if anyone who had a bike that CAME with black wheels (like my K6) wants to swap for silver.

I dont as I like the black and red - but what colour wheels did the K6 Blue or Silver come with.

Just a thought...

Not much point in recommending my polisher as I'm sure you'll find someone good locally, BUT - I would say don't bother getting the rims laquered as it takes the edge of the shine.

My polished rims don't take much effort to keep them looking good a wipe over with a clean cloth once a week & polished every couple of weeks or so (weather dependant obviously).

Also, if the rims do get scratched or salt damaged (as mine did last winter) it doesn't take long to bring them back.

The guy I used charged me £40 per wheel initially - & £15 per wheel to get rid of the salt damage.
