That would be a shame, one of the most talented riders in GPs.

Fairwell then to the nicest head of hair on the world of racing

The gravel traps can only cope with one regular visitor - and since Casey Stoner has an affinity for them, someone had to go...

I don't think hes ever recovered from the physcological drubbing he got from Valentino in 2004...

He's had an awful season, injuries being in the wrong place at the wrong time and being knocked off etc..

He was an awesome rider in 2004, if he could get that form back he'd be force to be reckoned with IMHO.

A press conference has been called for this morning and as no mootings from the paddock indicate a new tie up with a team, the conclusion can only be that Sete is to hang up his leathers. Such a terrible shame that his final two seasons will leave many with no other memories of him but falls and getting whooped by Valentino.

I think he should step down with his head held high, for he was a rider who for two seasons made arguably the best ever rider...on a bike that was performing well., really fight to retain his title.

Sete has had his whinges but generally he is avery intelligent and articulate individual and I for one will miss seeing him ride as he was always excellent to watch.

Poor old Supervox will be totally devastated at this news and no doubt there will not be a dry eye in his house later today.

I agree with the idea that Gib was a fast geezer but i am surprised that no other team wanted him.

Even Ducati as he went well on the new 800.

Maybe the Giveupnow name has been his enemy.
