Default pop POP BANG crackle

...i've just come back from my first time on the cat and fiddle its such a good road! pity is was so so dark though - and stuck behind a van. Buut my exhaust has always backfired a fair bit, but today it started making a racket! could it be the cooold dense air high up in the hills, the exhaust bedding in, or maybe the seal breaking a bit causing this?

My K6 with a blue flame also used to back fire a lot when riding on the mountains , but i never tough much of it , maybe it has something to do with the lower oxygen level.. don't know

Anyway , a few Weeks ago i did the tre mod , on my SV and she never poped again didnt noticed any change on power , just a lot less poping from the exhaust so i have kept the tre mod , although i do miss the poping

curvys aren't powerful enough to pop, you'll have to get a faster pointy
the poppings awesome! think it must have been to do with the freeeezing air up high.
good road though, anyone else a fan?

Yep probably something to do with cool air as I've noticed my blueflame pops on the overrun on cold mornings.
