Default what do you mean??

a wee list of common abbreviations used on the comp mostly ,this was copied from another forum,but we use most of these



Dunno about you guys, but some of the acronyms confuse the hell outta me.

Thought I'd put up a quick reference.

Feel free to give your input and I'll update this, coz I know I've missed loads.


BTW - By The Way
FAFFH - F£$%d and Far From Home
FWIW - For What It's Worth
GWS - Get Well Soon
HTH - Hope This/That Helps
IIRC - If I Remember Correctly.
IM/(H)O - In My/(Honest) Opinion.
IRL - In Real Life
IIRC-if i recall/remember correctly
LOL - Laugh Out Loud
OMH - Over My Head
PMSL - **** MySelf Laughing
ROFL - Roll On Floor Laughing
SFB - S^$t For Brains
TIA - Thanks In Advance

That's 'Fooked Up Beyond All Recognition'. I think it was used in the film Tango & Cash... or at least it was a Kurt Russel film anyway. No idea if it had any life before then.

It was definately in Saving Private Ryan, and I think get a mention in Catch 22??
