Default IT help

does anyone know how to crack hotmail e-mail password? Will programs such as bruteforce to help? Is it relatively easy to do or do you need to be IT expert?

I'm sure your find plenty of information on the net, and if anyone does know it would be best if they PM you as its not something I think this site would or should be associated with (I maybe wrong but I don't think so). Soz.

I'm with you all the way Grinch

Dave The Rat, why can't your mate just speak to the wife. If it's got to this stage then looking at her emails is a bit pointless IMO. Cause lost and all that

Cheers
Ben

To be fair cracking the hotmail password will be difficult at best if not improbable.

The best method of attack as such would be to install a key logger on to the PC to gain the password.

Should this be a theoretical problem, and someone was asking for my professional point of view.

Thats what id suggest, should someone want to know what someone else is doing. Of course if this is on a work computer it maybe difficult to accomplish. Easy at home

no it is at home and honest it is just his wife's e-mail address. She has been "naughty" before so I suppose he has a ground for mistrust. But it does sounds really complicated so I think I will leave it. Plus I understand it is not really kosher. I know I did crack password on my own excel spreadsheet when I forgotten my password and it was easy.

Ohhhhh really dodgy ground there mate.

1) He cannot use any of the info he would find as to disclose where he got it would leave him with little "moral highground".

2) Its illegal to access another persons account without permission, and computer misuse is REALLY frowned upon these days

3) Is he sure he REALLY wants to see whats in her inbox? Real can of worms there.

It IS impossible to "crack" a Hotmail account password - the standard password crackers wont work as it will more than probably alert Microsoft if there are too many failed logins on an account in a given period and will more than likely lock the account too.

My advice is to ignore the technological aspects of things and he should just sit her down and talk to her.

Have my wife's hotmail passwords (multiple account) so not an issue for me, she gave them to me (I often check her email for her as she cant from work sometimes).
