Default update my bad news for today.

I was told this morning that a m8 of mine was killed last night in an RTA (road traffic accident)
my other m8 in the passenger seat has a 10% chance of living after his operation..
The worst new is . there was a 16 year old girl in the back of the car (not wearing a seat belt but who does at that age .?) also was killed...
I really feel for the parents of that girl... as i bet she didn't tell them she was going for a drive in someones car...

numbness, is what I feel at the mo.

Though 10% is better than 0% - and that's what they gave Hammond at one time. Sometimes when hope is all you've got it can be all that is needed.

He under went an 8 hour operation last night to pin his mid rift back together, went well, but is currently in a sedated coma to prevent him from moving, so he now supports a metal exterior skeleton holding him together. He hanging on in there thank god.
All the higher ranks were called into the OC office for a briefing, ref funeral details, and the Pardre was visiting every one at work for a one on one chat to see how they were.
I wouldn't want his job.
