Take the front spark plug out and dry it off. Dry off the plug cap (quick squirt of WD40). Make sure the drain hole is clear on the side of the engine. Reassemble. Get a fender extender.

You've got a curvey without a fender extender?

Probably water & crud around the front spark plug. Clean it out, and make sure the drain hole is clear. Some people suggest copper grease helps.

Fitting a fender extender stops it happening again.

Default rain

take ya front plug out give it a good clean and spray all the ht lead and inside the cylinder head with a good spray that prevents electrical harking got mine from maplins worked a treat, also on the cylinder head there is a little drain hole at the right hand side to drain water out of the cylinder give it a poke with the straw you get with your spay...ya might want to invest in a fender to stop all the water spraying up...

Remove the left and right fairing (if it is an "S"). remove the horn. Loosen the top rad mount. Remove bottom rad mount. Pivot the rad forward. Remove the plug cap. Unscrew the spark plug. Should be a plug spanner in the tool kit. It's fiddly!

Default plug

take out the bottom bolt on the radiator ease it forward by about 2" and wedge it with a piece of wood that should give ya the room to get it out, use ya plug spanner out of ya tool box it's tricky so be carefull..

Fair enough. I had a curvey. A blue one. The best and the fastest so I am lead to believe.
