Default Unimaginative, I know, but...

...I'm new. I finally get to see my new-to-me SV650 S tomorrow! I bought it on Friday, but had to send my dad to Essex to collect it as I was working. He rode it to Mission in Bletchley to have a restrictor kit fitted and, assuming it's ready, I'll be riding it away tomorrow!

I can't wait.

There are some excellent roads in Beds/Herts and now I finally have a chance to ride them at more than 35 mph!

Hello & welcome.

We're not all insane, honest! (Some are just slightly mad)

Take it easy on the new bike until you get used to her, then give it some abuse in the summer months when the roads are better

G'day and welcome also!

I've been waiting 11 weeks so far to get my first ride on my sv (i left it at home to be sorted out while i came away to uni for the first term). Just one more week - this time next monday, i should be out on the road (waether permitting).

It's gonna be a loooooooong week...

Matt

I finally saw and rode it today - and I love it! There's only one minor problem though, the speedo spontaneously failed on the A5065 and started working again a short while later. Could this be linked to the restrictor kit? Is it water in the sensor or has something more serious gone wrong?
