Some of you will remember the free Shark S500 helmets that were being given away with TWO mag last year. I've been using mine every since; always found it very stable.
However, today it excelled itself........I rode from Brecon to Cardiff (about 45 miles) at sometimes stupid speeds (it was hot and I needed to keep cool, officer!!) into a headwind and it didn't blow off even though I left Brecon without doing up the strap ![]() ![]() Only found out when I got home. Can't help thinking that I'm very lucky. |

yeah they certainly are a summer helmet.
they do keep your head very cool compared to other helmets ive worn, but my chin does touch the front bit, and you cant have the visor "just a touch" open at triple figure speeds without it slamming all over the place. oh, and my visor push button clip broke too. |
