Fave music of 06
Org members, in the end of year tradition list your top 3 albums of 06 for approving nods and withering riddicule.
Cansei de ser sexy - CSS Catchy-as-hell Brazilian pop from foul mouthed jailbait, sweet. Mastodon - Blood Mountain Metal's always been tricky for me, when it's good it's great but way too much of it is just sounds like the sixth form band from your worst nightmares. I bought this because I saw Josh Homme guesting and I'm glad I did. Great Album Midlake - The Trials of Van the Occupanther Sounds like a mix of Mercury Rev, Neil Young and Fleetwood Mac, and if that's not enough to send you running it's a concept album too.  Fantastic first six tracks.
