Not a bad idea but you'd be better off with more useful stuff under your seat such an a tyre pressure guage and some chain lube. If you're doing a very long (europe crossing) trip it might be useful. It's something I can't see myself needing to be honest.

Similar bikes have similar fuel consumption and you could find yourself 5 miles down the road with two bikes and no fuel. One bike could go further and get a can of fuel. Better to invest in some bungies under the seat or travel with a touring bike and a 25 litre petrol tank. |
