Default my new (at least to me) toy

New guy here and just thought you might like to have a look at my 99 curvy 650s. Since I got it I have added the seat cowl, a BMC race air filter, removed grab rail and the pillion foot pegs and put on aluminium blanking plates that I made myself to tidy them up. Ive also got blue brake and clutch levers to fit, but I'm not going to do that until I get a set of blue braided hoses so I can do the lot at once and I've got an r6 throttle on order which should be in on wed. The bike came with a high level carbon remus grand prix end can, carbon bar ends, a dark smoke screen, a full fairing and hugger and a whole bunch of the bolts had been changed for either stainless or blue ones depending on where they are on the bike.

I've had her about 2 and a half months and already done 3,500 miles and I ride everyday no matter the weather. I do have to say its a lot more fun than the el252 I had before.

I apologize for the state of it but I don't have a digicam so I borrowed the old mans when I went over for lunch today and I'm not going to wash only to then ride home in the lovely weather we have been having today (read its still tipping with rain)

Any ideas as to things I can do to it are definitely welcomed, the only thing I don't like is that the cowl is a slightly darker colour than the rest of the bike and it doesn't seem to fit in particularly well so I think it needs some tubing or something to make the join a bit neater.

For those wondering the other bike is my old mans 02 Bonneville which he hasn't ridden since boxing day the lazy sod and is covered in dust cause hes been putting up shelves. There is also a 59 Birmingham Scott in that tiny garage as well but its got the engine out and is under the normal crap you find any garage.

Enjoy. And you can click the pics for full sized (800x600) ones

Not only is it blue - it's the best blue!! The '99 light blue only lasted for that year - shame coz its a loverly colour. Though I might be biased a little

Congrats on the new bike - ride safe and ride happy!
