Has anyone bought from this guy? linky £60 seems a good price for Hel lines. Any feedback welcome.

Afternoon all.
All of us in the trade who have an account with HEL can get brakeline kits delivered the next day. Some 'traders' on Ebay have abused this, and left customers waiting several days after their funds have cleared, before sending out the kits.........At least this guy suggests that the kits come from the factory, rather that implying that he keeps them in stock. His feedback score of 539 at 99+% doesn't look too bad. Someone will have to try him and see how it goes.
I will supply HEL 3 line kits at £57 to forum members who call in, + a bit for fitting for those of you who require it.

Cheers.

Yup,
mc21repsol..... knows a bit about v-twin two strokes, sadly *onda ones.
But he did arrange for me to take delivery of a genuine Suzuki Gel seat at a price that was very fair. It now resides on my K4 and has made the bike more of a joy than previously! I'd use him again, no hesitation. I emailed him about brake lines or something in which I bemoaned the fact that what I really really wanted was 990A0-61000 which was unavailable outside mainland USA and Puerto Rico...!
He asked if I was serious, I replied that I was. Six weeks later I had a new seat on the bike...!
Woooooooooohoooooooooooooooooo

HTH
Cheers

I got mine from a seller called hel-line-4-u.

Rather than a buy it now I got em on an auction for £30 (same full 3 line kit).
I've just check but he isn't selling any at the mo - maybe worth a quick message to him.

Spannerman

On an 03 pointy, how do the front hoses link from the master cylinder down to the calipers ?

Is there a splitter supplied as part of the kit ? (dont know the proper name for it)

Am a wee bit confused since they sell these as a "3 line kit" , 2 front and a single rear

On mines, there are 3 hoses on the front (although seems to be listed as a single part) all connected to a small block, one hose and banjo connection going to the master cylinder and one going to each caliper

would be grateful if someone could clarify

As standard, there is one hose from the mater cylinder (brake lever) to a splitter. There are then two hoses from the splitter (one to each front caliper) IIRC. The HEL kit gets rid of the splitter. They provide a double (longer) banjo bolt so that you get two lines from the master cylinder. One to each caliper.
