sv1000s top speed? - SV650.org

anyone had theres flat out? ive seen 85 in second and about 105 in third

it seems like its going to pull for ever? so what will it do in top gear?

I've seen an indicated 143, but no idea what the real speed was.

It cant be far off the TL1000, i stopped at around 155 on that and it was still going.

Hiya Kwak.. remember my old naked SV1000, gentle trip to the stormy last year?

That 1 gave me an indicated 172 mph at just below red line in top I guess that it was somewhere near the max geared speed of 165?
