Default love my Hornet but ..

I love my bike but one thing annoys me immensely. I just cannot read the clocks in the dark. I would have to lay down on the tank to find out how quickly I am going. I know you will all start saying why dint you get SV, but I just like the Hornet. As a matter of interest are the SV's clocks any good in the dark?

The pointy clocks are very good. No problems in the dark.

Sounds odd (interp: dangerous) if you arent able to tell how fast you are going in the dark. This is a first - Suzuki beat Honda in build quality??

Post it on the Hornets nest, it maybe a known problem with an easy fix.

Might be that dark visor and sun glasses or just his age

Which Hornet do you have? I have an'03 - white dials, red needles and dials back-lit. No problem for me.

Cheeky git

I should point out that my recent 3pts/£60 were earned in the cage in broad daylight.

It least I go out in the dark, unlike certain BMW riders (who shall remain nameless)

Well could be the age I suppose

I decided to commute to work on my bike and the clocks give me real grief. I glanced on the clocks whilst approaching a speed camera and had no clue what speed I was doing. I guess in a region of 40 but could have been 50 too. These days you can apparently get ticket for doing 43 in 40 miles zone. So I sit and pray and my undies are now proper adidas with 3 (or maybe more) little stripes. Still love the bike, so those little things wont spoil it for me.
