Bikes and biking are part of me. Asking me to give up biking is asking me to change who I am. I would expect my partner to understand this. I would and have found somebody who accepts me as I am and not ask me to change to suit them.

Bike for me. Like others, it's a part of who I am so if someone wanted that out of my life then, well, nuff said.
I would hope I'd never fall for someone who would be dumb enough to ask that question of me though.
