Default been all through search, but still need shock info

K3 Pointy....

whats the best shock for the Pointy... everything else seems to be discussed for the Cruvy...

I woul dlike the least amount of fitting trouble possible....

Great.... but where does it say about fitting the pointy.... someone asked.. but the answer was I have a ZX6 shock fitted to my Curvy.....

are they different....?

so ZX636 or ZX10... for the Pointy....?

Are.... on the second page it has GSXR600 K5 & 6... it this correct?

the pointy shock is 330mm length & 430lb/inch (or # in american) spring rate, you just need to find one that (nearly) matches those. any of these would do the job:

00-03 GSXR750 325mm 400#
01-02 GSXR1000 329.5mm 430#
04 GSXR600 332.5mm 425#
03-04 GSXR1000 332.5mm 480#
05 GSX-R 1000 332.5mm 450#

I belive I may need to modify the battery box.. is this correct?

yes. the reservoir on the replacement shock (on whatever you choose as replacement) will foul the battery box, which will need some trimming
