Default Mirror Polished Wheels

Anyone had this done? Would you recommend it? Hard to maintain? Got any pics?

I did something similar but removing the existing powdercoat on the wheels and polishing the metal underneath. It was almost a mirror type finish. Could not keep it clean, used a lot of autosol and still the dirt kept coming. Personally I wouldnt recommend it unless your Kwak zzr!!!

This from a man that acording to his avatar finds it ok to have white wheels

Personally I reckon spray them a gun-metal grey as it saves them looking any different when they get grubby

The one thing stopping me updating to an 07 model is that all the models have BLACK wheels. Blakcwheels show every speck of dirt and can even look dirty with showroom dust on them !
My Silver wheels on my K1 yellow curvy always look clean and shiny even when I know they're not. What's this obsession that manufacturers have with black wheels

my mates got polished rims on his TL he says they are easy to keep on top of. just polish them up a few times a day and dont get them wet and you should be ok.

yeah sounds completely hassel free! hehe.
but good point viney, ive got a GZ125 marauder at the mo and the chrome on that is insane to keep lookin spick an span, i really dont have the time for it with uni an stuff, but ive found chain lube to be a reet problem on the back wheel!!
autosol seems to bring it all up nice an shiney when i do get round to givin her a clean up

one things for sure tho, im gettin no other bike with chrome on!!
