Anyone had this done? Would you recommend it? Hard to maintain? Got any pics?

I did something similar but removing the existing powdercoat on the wheels and polishing the metal underneath. It was almost a mirror type finish. Could not keep it clean, used a lot of autosol and still the dirt kept coming. Personally I wouldnt recommend it unless your Kwak zzr!!!

![]() Personally I reckon spray them a gun-metal grey as it saves them looking any different when they get grubby ![]()

The one thing stopping me updating to an 07 model is that all the models have BLACK wheels. Blakcwheels show every speck of dirt and can even look dirty with showroom dust on them !
My Silver wheels on my K1 yellow curvy always look clean and shiny even when I know they're not. What's this obsession that manufacturers have with black wheels ![]() |
