Question Radiator pipe

The black Radiator pipes on my k4 is slowly turning white-ish, dont know if its just polish residue or what, but would like some advice (Calling Kwak zzr.. ) on what best to clean them with and, more to the point, to keep them looking black.

P.s already tried wd40 to clean them....works fine but comes back all discoloured after a few days.

cheers in advance...

The WD40 could be eating the pipe mate, i wudn't use it on any of my rubber its an oil which can end up rotting rubber!!!

I'm sure Kwak will be along with a solution shortly!

Furniture polish, (it's under the sink in the kitchen - don't get caught, she won't like it).

Mine were like that when I got it - I've just give 'em a scrub every time I've washed it and they have eventually gone back to normal.

Hmm, reading back over that it sounds like some kind of doctors report
