Well got my new front brake discs and pads from Stealth Products - £232 all in - £200 less than Triumph parts!
Thanks to everyone who gave info on this in earlier thread - thanks to Beenz for finding Stealth. They make to order and can do designs in the vent holes etc - I just went for standard jobs. All I want to do is to be able to stop. Got old discs off just one stubborn bolt. Taking the pad retaining pin out of offside brake was a hard task and completely twisted the hex key and when I used a socket and bar to get more leverage I bent the bar as well! A few taps and another hex key and it came lose with no damage. All fitted now and torque wrench tightened! - just a little nervous about the first ride to bed it all in - both to make sure they work and that I did it properly ![]() |
