Default Using the DLR

This may sound like a stupid question (but no stupid answers please...)

If I purchase a zone 1-6 travel card from my local overground station (West Drayton, Zone 6) is it eligible for use on the DLR ?

I always thought they were, and have always travelled believing so, but somebody I know says that's not the case, can anybody confirm ?

I have a meeting with the management of the City Airport tomorrow and need to use the DLR.

Default Re: Using the DLR

OK, I found it on the TfL website...

Travelcards are valid for travel on:
  • The Tube, Docklands Light Railway and buses Trams, where your Travelcard includes Zone 3, 4, 5 or 6
  • National Rail (excluding Heathrow Connect between Hayes & Harlington and Heathrow, and on Heathrow Express)
  • Scheduled Riverboat services at 1/3 off the normal fare. Just show your Travelcard (or Oyster card with a Travelcard on it) at the time of travel
So that's that sorted....
