Default New biker cafe opening in Todmorden Yorks/Lancs

Went through Todmorden on the Yorkshire/Lancashire border this afternoon and noticed a new biker cafe called Big D's due to open on March 28th.

If travelling from Todmorden towards Halifax it's on the main road on the left, just outside Todmorden. Carpark to front. Obviously, if travelling towards Todmorden from Halifax it's on the right, just before entering Todmorden. Carpark still to front ;o)

I'm working a 9-5 in Preston that day so providing it's not bouncing it down I'll pop over after work to see what it's about.

it is up for sale, but at the price he wants its difficult to get any serious interest, + it needs a refit , if you see the place when its quiet the furnitures wrecked and te toilets need doing, totally inadequate for the ammount of people that visit, he keeps putting the tea and coffee, anything to get his takings up,

As regulars we visit 2-3 times a week, ive mated who are there 5+ times,
some of them complained sbout being cold over the winter and asked him to put the heating on, he wouldnt put it on , so over the winter weve all been going to a local pub and having a meal there instead in wartmth and comfort.

last summer they were considering introducing a 50p charge per bike, as they were getting upset that people were coming to the meets but not spending much in the cafe........... some people go for a "meal" some people go for a coffee, and some people just go for a chat with there mates, it was teh latter that were getting irksome...........

Not been to Squires since we moved from York. I understand they moved to a new location and it was all shiny and smart? Is it now as run down as the old site?
