Me with a quick fag-packet type calculation - about 150,000 over ~20 years ...



FYI this thread was inspired by a convo with rictus01 who has done >1.5 MILLION!! over 31 years!! Can anyone possibly beat that?!!?

Why the small font? Trying to hide?

Personally, *runs out side to check* 15,231 miles on the SV since last July, erm, couple of hundred (maybe 1000) on the CG, can I count fields too?

Small fonts was a formatting error (meant to do just the bottom line)!!

Yep OFFROAD included

5000 miles on the SV, maybe 1000 on the SR, roughly 3500 per year during 5 years on the pushbike.

Bugger me. Off road included?

But that means including bikes that didn't have a working odometer, hell, bikes that didn't even have one fitted!

OK, arguments sake, stick another 7,500 on there, which bumps me up in to the 20k+ category.

Unless you have only ever had one bike or kept track, it'll only be fag packet calculation anyway ... therefore you can guestimate for off-road too

Roughly I would have to say I have done about 80'000 miles on the 4 years I've been riding. Split over 13 bikes........yep that many bikes.

I've voted the last option. Well, after living for 12 years in Germany there were a lot of places that were easy to get to. I probably racked up the majority of the miles during these 12 years. Plus after leaving the services I was a sub contractor working all over the country and beyond for quite a few years.

I reckon it would be somewhere close to the 250.000 if not passed it. Done over 22 years and on about 15 bikes.

CBT, bought Yam SR125 bike,

5 days DAS course(failed)

a couple months off due to jaw surgery.

3 days DAS course (passed).

further 1¾ years without bike.

7500 miles on SV in 2 years.

Total = I guess 8000+ miles in 2 years 6 months of bike ownership.

Jeez, that's pathetic.
