Default Does K4 stuff fit on a K5 ??

Hey there,

i have used the search button but it says "these terms are too common"

so it wont show any replys,

so as topic says, will k4 stuff fit on a K5, and is the black k4 colour same as the black k5??

i know seat cowls are the same and colours are same as well. not sure bout lower fairings though

As the frames are the same, the mountings will be in the same place, can't think of a reason why they wouldn't fit.

Another "Aye" from me. Again like Rictus, I can't see that the lowers won't fit and I'm all but certain that the cowl does.

"NAW" to the hugger though, most manufacturers or stockists of huggers seem to list different models for the K5 so beware.

i might pass on the hugger then,

but if i can get them at a good price ill get the lowers and cowl

I think the radiator on the k5 is wider, hence the fairing mounts are different.... just something thats in my head for some reason.
Afaik the actual fairing panels are the same, so it cant be unsurmountable(insurmountable?).

Edit... a search for k4 k5 radiator gave me this thread.....(very useful)...

The k5 rad is actually smaller it seems.
