Well...I haven't seen one of them about in ages.

Sadly, a number on here don't have SVs either and I have sold mine!

You can spill the beans on price, mileage and condition for the more nosey of us.

Insurance seems mega pricey though.

Think he means that the bike AND insurance were got for a grand.

Certainly the RF900 were under rated, but don't know about the 6's. Always loved the rear light clusters on those.

Didn't know Darth Vader was selling his personel transport, basically a bandit with bodywork, good fun bike, although you'll find the suspension wanting if you push it.

Cheers Mark.

Oh yeah.

The RF900 was some cheap speed but the RF600 was certainly not flavour of the month.

If memory serves, it had the same engine as the bandit. All the good and bad features of a Suzuki and probably the bargain of the day if you can find a cheap clean one.

Hey!!! i liked my title! (and its spelt wrong! )

anyhow,

its a 1995 'N' with just short of 20k on it, is slightly tatty, but im not overly fussed about that (it is my first bike after all, and with a bit of luck il get some time to tidy it up once the summer comes (and more importantly, once i feel more used2bike and (wishful thinking - less likely to drop it)))

ye, the back light is different! other half likes the light, so tht helps!!

the 60ish mile ride back went smoothly enuf, plenty fast enuf neways!!

oh ye, got the bike for £750, and insurance was £240 (including third party for other bikes), for 21yo with no claims, thought that wasnt to bad!

Seems like a good buy. I would have certainly had a look at that price.

BIKE mag have just done a thing on cheap bikes and the RF900 came up. They reckon that the straked side panels are prone to fall off and best to zip-tie them on. Presumably that'll be a problem on yours too.

Ah the RF. I too have not seen one of those in a looooong time.

Now this is just a person point of view so take no notice of me. But I think they are butt ugly.

I'll be absolutely amazed if you ever get rear ended cause they have the biggest damn rear brake lights I have ever seen on any vehicle EVER.
