Default New Z6 scrubbed in.

At 10:00 took rear wheel to get new Z6 fitted

At 11:00 new tyre fitted and home.

At 11:20 wheel back on bike and changed ready for test ride.

At 12:00 and 40 miles later back home with coffee in hand and tyre now scrubbed in.

Mark, Thank you very much.

Where, how much and very envious of your 'strips

I was £113 for Diablo fitted RiRo and the strips are twice the size of yours.

Mmmmmmmm...... thought I was doing well with mine and I've only had the tyre since Sunday (yup Easter Sunday. Lovely chap from Loose Wheels in Colchester opened his workshop specially to help out a 'lady'in distress)

guess I'll just have to try to keep up with you tomorrow somehow.

Seeya in the morn!

It was £110 fitted to a loose wheel which to be honest is about £15 more than I usually pay and that is ride in ride out. I normally get them fitted in Reading where I work but the shop is shut this week so had to source them at the local bike stealers. Anyone in Newbury or surrounding area be advised that Pro-bike are, let me say, not as cheap as competition in surrounding areas. This includes the price of their 2nd hand bikes.

Oh and the place in Reading is called Ride in Tyres. Owners name is Mark.

I'll post a pic in a day or so, so you can all see with how I'm getting along with scrubbing in my Z6's.

But I warn you - its laughable.

Hmmm, I don't actually remember saying that I took the photo as soon as I got home. Let me just check...

Nope I didn't. Phew nearly got caught out there.

I run Diablo stradas which are almost identical to the z6's , to scrub to the edges of my rear strada had to scrape pegs , is it the same for the z6's ?

Cheers Steve
