Default Basket Helmet II the Continuing Story

Well here they are, the original helmet a few months on and a new addition a few weeks old. My Caberg J1 Plus flip front, which looks much better then I expected. Maybe its because its white I wasn't to sure, but it seems to work just fine. Though I expect it's due to the plants that Jax picked for it, as at the moment they contrast the helmet rather nicely and it stands out from the wall well.
So thanks Jax for the lovely use of my old helmets, it makes a great choice other then just throwing them in the bin. Plus I'm sure its given the neighbours something to think about.

I think that looks surprisingly good.
Some years ago, I had the possibility of getting my hands on a mainframe. The idea was to put it in the back garden and have plants growing out of it. My girlfriend (now wife) thought better of it...

Dunno - it was an IBM of some kind (mainframes not really my cup of tea!). Probably had a footprint of about 1.5m square, and about 2m tall. Lots of bits like the tape drive were external to it.
I wasn't allowed to have it tho because (as well as my wife not wanting it in the back garden), work had to get some documentation saying that it had been disposed of safely - full of carcinogens!

I think your hanging baskets/helmets are much more elegant.

They do look very cool - an excellent spin on recycling.

Guess where our lids will end up?
