Default Had my bike bike Dyno'd.

Went to Steve Jordan motorcycles today in Surrey to have my bike re-mapped and dyno'd.

Before the re-map my K5 650s had a little over 69bhp. After the man worked his magic its now up to 72bhp. The torque is also up!

Highly recommended if anybody is thinking about having it done. Even with a K&N and a slip on can it was still running extremely rich. It's transformed a great bike into an even better bike thanks to the smooth power delivery it now has.

TOP JOB!

I paid £120, well worth it if you ask me. Just think what it would cost if you had a power commander fitted...?

This basically does the same job!

How mush do JHS charge for the ignition advancer and fitting?

Taking my baby there as soon as I get a chance so they can map my power comander!

let us know how the ignition timer goes. most people seem to think they don't work, or its such minimal difference

That's 2 different things, I think you're thinking of the iginition retarder elimination? Most people report good results on the lows and mids with the ignition advancer. I certainly did, though tbh it could have been placebo effect.

Pick the Tuono up tonight - am a little excited to feel the difference after having the fueling sorted out professionaly.

Has been a bit rough after some home grown mods.

Was about £50 when I had my ignition advancer key fitted a few years ago. Masses of extra bottom end, almost nothing at the top - basically takes the slope off the torque curve and makes it fat everywhere! TRE mod - do it, it's free, prob not notice the difference though as Northy says, esp if you've got the advancer.
