What's for tea?
As the good weather holds, the BBQ is getting used more and more. Tonight, we have had a rack of lamb and roast garlic and rosemary potatoes cooked on the BBQ.
WOW, the smell in the garden was droolworthy (made up word!) The lamb was soooooo tender, the spuds with a hint of smoke (bucket full of wood chips for free from an oak tree being cut up after the last storms) Carrots, broccoli and gravy from the lamb. Both Kids scoffing none-stop, fruit kebabs and ice cream for pud. So, anyone here into outdoor cooking? Gas or charcoal, (charcoal for me) Any good recipies to share? Our kids fave is chicken chunks marinaded in fresh orange juice and maple syrup. Bit of coleslaw and salad and happy faces abound

cooking on gas is a sin, I only cook outside the rest I leave up to the mrs's.....no matter what the weather

Gas or coal.....its a non-brainer isn't it!
Coal every time as what the hell is the point of cooking outside with gas ffs

Just got in from a heavy day in Rugby. The wife has been two busy with grandaughter to cook. So bloody fish and chips Bang goes the healthy eating again

WAAAARGH! stop talking about food!
I've been told not to eat starch, dairy, meat or anything heavy, and I am starving! When you can't eat you realise how much people talk about food all the time. |
