Default twisty route - 29 Apr

twisty route - 29 Apr (how can you edit it?)

Is anyone interested in a short Sunday morning ride sticking to the speed limits?

I had to drive my in laws to Stanstead Airport this morning and we decided to put the GPS to good use and take the back roads home (plus I only have a provisional car license so can not do motorways ). To my surprise the route was very scenic with only country lanes and nice villages and loads of twisty bits. Needless to say that my first thoughts were getting on the bike and riding the route.

Any takers?

Hiya, yeah there sure are some beautiful roads all around up this way. I wont know until the morning. I tend not to commit in advance as sometimes I just dont wake up on time

I dont know how you edit the title? I had the same problem with one of those title symbols

Edit - just found out how to edit title- Click on "Go Advanced" and you can edit there

Sorry can't play tomorrow previous comitments, but I hope you enjoy the run out, as a transplanted Brummie I'm starting to discover the joys of the Essex countryside.

RobSV and 30MPHMAX may be going to Burnham today as there's a Bike Safe event where you may be able to catch some Triumph test rides. I think the police riders will take you out and assess your riding (I did this last year) and you get some useful feedback. Not sure if I can go yet but I'd imagine a meet around 10 - 10:30 could be on the cards!

I was out all day yesterday and the wife want me to do some bits for her before we go out thlater this afternoon. It's at a delicate point of negotiation! I'll post before 10 if I can go! .

Mac will be up for it with the promise of new Triumph's to sit on (so I heard, no promises - Rob can confirm!)?

The thing I was talking about is the Essex BikeSafe 2007 launch event. Sunday 29th April at Millfields, Burnham on Crouch from 9am to 4pm.

"The even is in support of Essex Air Ambulance and will include ride outs with Essex Police motorcyclists, family entertainment, demo bikes to try (bring your licence), Honda riding simulator, free mechanical health check for your bike, and various tradestands from major manufacturers."

Details from here: http://www.eamg.org.uk/bikesafe.htm

I have no idea if Triumph will be there.

Anyone fancy it?

I am not sure. I can find Burnham on Crouch(although I am not confident that I could get there easily without a map) but I can not find Millfields on google maps. Is it a pub?
