Default Help with Broadband Connection

Hi people,

got connected on Sky Max on Tuesday and have since discovered that now and then I lose my connection.

1) I have switched uPNP off from the router
2) Assigned Static IP addys on the 2 PCs that are connected via wire to the router
3) I've setup rules on the router to fwd ports for msn messenger and Azureus as per the tutorials and they work fine for as long as I'm connected.

I'm posting my line figures below if they can be of use. My noise margins stay within those figures which I think are good??

Could someone please advise?

Cheers

interesting thing though is that the dropouts only happen when i'm using the pc's that are wired to the router.

have been on the laptop wirelessly and it's been fine......

what I don't understand is why does this problem only happen on the PCs that are wired to the router and not on the wireless laptop

Oh boy - i am having the same problem with drop outs. My ph line is crackly. Line has been stable for over a year now - then all of a sudden it drops every 30 mins or so. I am hoping its an equipment fault so I can isolate it - just havent had the time to sit down and do the plug and unplug stuff.
