I do love my Astro-R but it's one noisy helmet, and I don't like the hassle of disposables... I meant to get a set of proper reusable ones done at the bike show, but totally forgot- anyone know of a local place that can do this at a good price? Specsavers do it apparently, but they're £85 or £150 for the ones with headphones built in (which I'm tempted by)... that's way more than the people who're usually at the shows.
I'm sure there'll be people at Kelso doing it, but that's not til July... I'd like to find something before the AR ideally. Any ideas?

Hadn't thought of that... I'd prefer to get it done by the pros, but that'd be a good stopgap.

i just ordered a pair, its says £12.99 +£1 postage = £16.50 ???? (V.A.T.) anywho... i emailed them first about fixing them together.............. Thank you for your interest in our earplugs. We have just developed a new lanyard system for them that screws into the earplugs. We have not yet added them to our website yet. However if you order online and add a note to us I will make sure you receive one free of charge. id be worried i got it stuck. when i got mine made the guy had to put the stuff so far down me ear to make sure it was in the right place. and how do they know they have it far enough in - you gag !!!!
I paid £55 for mine and that was 5 years ago but they come with 10 year guarantee, provided you dont lose them of course. for £16 i would not expect much but am willing to be proved wrong. |
