Default Removing Tank Protectors

Hey guys, I did a search but didn't find anything on this yet. I have some progrip side tank protectors that I just put on my bike, but after riding it for about a week, I'm not satisfied with the positioning of them. They need to be a bit lower to prevent more clearcoat from rubbing off the tank Is there a way to remove them without losing the adhesive on them so I can just stick em back on?
