Wife was idle this morning (Need to nip that in the bud very quickly) so I resorted to a quick ride up to Rivvy for my bacon barm. Whilst there I notice a blue k5 that repulsed me. Lime green rim tape on the bugger.

God it looks awful. why do people want to ruin the looks of a perfectly acceptable bike with such tacky additions.

Come on closet nova/corsa drivers. why do you chav up your bikes with tacky bits.

I'm not a fan of it on my bike, but I think it can look good with the right colour rim tape on the right colour bike.

I've seen black R6s with black wheels and red rim tape/paint (think they used to come like this) and it looked quite good, but agree that rim tape can often look blinking awful.
