Default Knee down!

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

I FINALLY DID IT. HAVE IT!

Dunno if its cheating or not but I just went round a car park in circles until is craped. Now I can just go round and round with my slider scraping.

Soo much fun. Love it. Have to get some more in quick before winter settles in for real.

Pics will follow soon.

Did I mention WOO?

And I still wonder what the hell the fuss is about.

Haven't done it since.

Well done mate, you be careful though.

My sliders are still unscathed (although I think I've scared 'em a few times), I've not really tried that hard to get my knee down , I'm normally concentrating more on my line, throttle etc.

I'm sure it'll happen naturally as I get faster, so I'm not going to force it.

Excellent work. Yep now it will be easy and you'll want to do it everywhere but BEWARE of dodgy roads this times of year. I would play it safe until next year now. I lowsided my Kwak last November getting my kneedown and there was a teeny bit of damp/ice on the road (like the size of an orange) and down she went. KD is an awesome feeling though!

Got mine down for the first time too recently and loved every second of it! Scraping it all the way around the roundabouts when a car is behind you is such a laugh!

Yeah tis good fun.

Jinmmy: It is defo your position. Today I wasn't off as far as I should have been and my peg dug in hard. Just slide off a little more.

Still doing it on little mini roundabouts atm, can't quite seem to do it on the big ones. Only going about 10mph while doing it. Dunno if that's wrong or not.

Yep!

I think most people find it easier when going a bit faster.

Be careful doing it on the road though, especially now it's starting to get slippery.

I think when trying to people always try to hang off the bike too much rather than actually swivel around the tank. Also speed is the key, most newcomers are a little afraid of belting it into a corner hanging off. It will become so easy after a while that it almost gets boring.......almost.
