Leave my job on Friday!!

I'm leaving my current job on Friday to start my new one on Tuesday next week, as an engineer for a food manufacturer on the outskirts of Manchester.
Now, it's just a case of counting down the days.

Don't you just hate having to wait??!!

It's driving me mad!! I cant get any motivation to do anything and just wish I cud go now, but hey, not to worry cause it'll soon be Friday, , and I'll be off to Anglesey for a nice long weekend !!

Anybody else quitting/leaving their jobs??

Not a job as such, but my girlfreind maria is leaving uni - she's got her last exam on friday and then thats it! Fingers crossed that she gets a good degree, she's worked way too hard to get anything less than a 1st...

...god knows when she'll get a job, its hard finding things for a psychologist that hasnt got a post graduate qualification. But she has applied for a vacancy in the NHS

Anyway, good luck with your new job! What food manufacture? What do they make?

They called McCormicks and they make sauces, dips, salad dressings, etc. They make all the stuff for mcdonalds as well as all the major supermarkets. The job is as a Facilities Engineer, working/maintaining all the boilers, compressors, air conditiong, air handling units, etc, rather than the production line.

Good luck, and if they make that blue cheese sauce you get in Pizza hut get us a 45 gallon drum of the stuff would you ?

Are you bringing the bike? Do you know there's a group ride out organised this weekend in North Wales (based at Llanberis for a couple of nights)? Seems the perfect way to celebrate the temporary unemployment to me

If you do join us on the ride, I'll be heading home each night (I live on Anglesey).

I left school yesterday I still have to go back for exams though
