Has anyone tried that spray to make your number plate completely refelct all light from a speed camera?

was just intrigued as to whether it actually works, considering its legal

It doesn't work and even if it did, it's illegal and you'd be crucified if you got caught.

Just to clarify.

The substance may indeed be legal. But spraying it on your plate in order to avoid getting caught speeding IS illegal.

I vaguely remember one of those over the top "police camera action" type shows where the feds noticed that they could read the number-plate of the car in front but couldn't see it on the in-car video display they had.

Of course it's not legal! Any method of blocking your registration plate isn't! Having your leg dangle in the way isn't even legal! (...if deliberate ) And no it doesn't work in the slightest. Its priced up hairspray.
Read thePhantom Plate website if you're still tempted. The photoshield cover does however work, but use at your own risk.
