It will help keep you fit, as you'll want to go down again. Did you notice there is one on the first floor for the more lazy .

That picture is from the Turbine Hall at Tate Modern. The slides were installed there at the end of last year.

& excellent fun they were too queues were huge though, had to go & look at some pikchas whilst we waited

Reminds me of the double helix staircase at Chambord, a chateau in the Loire valley. Based on a design by Leonardo da Vinci.
