it's supposed to be a great bike...next year im considering it or a ktm superduke 990...probably go for the supermoto for the 7 inches of fork travel, offroad capability and softer suspension.

I love sportbikes, but the supermoto is amazing for the type of roads we have in new england.

Yeah I'm in the same boat. The 990 looks awesome! and certainly has enough go, but the 950 might let me keep my license a little longer! whilst being even quicker in the twisties. If this thing can do reasonably well off road- its mine That second video is brilliant!

This bike likely spend as much time off road as most BMW X5 car. Not really what they made for. Twisty roads are best for them. It takes very good rider to get best out of this bike, anyone a little nervous will not feel happy on them at all.

As in a **** rider will find it twitchy and a good rider will find it agile? Think i may need to find a KTM dealer in the NW

No you don't

I bought one, brand new... Had it for 4 months when it developed 'header pipe failure,' it then spent the next 4 months waiting for it to be repaired

Had to take the dealer to court to get compo...

KTM UK were crap too

Don't get me wrong, fantastic bike; probably the best handling machines I've ever ridden... Would I buy another KTM Not on your nelly

Bummer I thought Ktm has an impeccable reliability record? Being all spors/enduro based?! Do you reckon it would handle a few green lane trips? - not as its main purpose, I just fancy having the option

I sued the dealer for Cloggsy. They were simply appalling to deal with. This brand new bike was 'repaired' FOUR TIMES before they got it right, and each time they insisted that it was all a figment of Clive's imagination. And KTM UK went into denial mode too, it was utterly disgraceful. We won in the end though

Not with the standard wheels/rubber on it...

Especially as they are £1,500 to replace if they get mashed; they are lightweight Brembo wheels
