Beware of cheap healight bulbs. They usualy dont have decent UV filters on the glass, and will end up turning your headlight lens yeallow over time. Ayway, 3.99 isnt that cheap.

Knock yourself up some fake letter heads or write out a letter saying you have to service your own company car on your company letter head then go into HALFORDS and get a TRADE card.

Bulbs are between 0.50p - £1

Everything service wise is cheap as hell.

What's the discount like on tools etc? I was advised (oddly enough, by one of the girls who works there and who I don't know outside of there) to claim I was working in the trade, based on the amount of time I spend down my local halfords.

EDIT: £4.50 P&P on the machine mart one though, so I suppose it depends on how close to a lidl store vs. how close to a machine mart.

EDIT: After a trip to halfords at lunchtime (unrelated to bulbs) I enquired about the trade card. They said it was okay that my company wasn't a motoring one, but as I service a company vehicle, they'd need to see my motorcycle mechanics certificate. I should actually have a nightclass one kicking around somewhere, hopefully that ought to be adequate.

That is for a pair of bulbs, either blue tint or 50% brighter............allegedly.

Would imagine that they would be good quality, don't quite know why though.
