Thumbs up Lindstrands Fokker Jeans

Bought some of these bad boys yesterday and am very impressed. They are lined with some stuff called HI-ART rather than the kevlar you get in Draggin and other makes which apparently has a much better burn time according to the sales dude.

Vey comfy, got straps at the bottom to stop the bottom flapping about. Also got a provision to add armour which is much better than the ones you get with Draggins.

Another nifty feature is you can buy a special belt which allows you to zip them to a Lindstrands jacket.

All all for £89

I've always recommended these in fact all of the Halvarssons gear is top notch and well worth the money.
They wash well too BTW don't worry about them being fragile in the washing machine.

They look good.

How does the sizing come up? Looking at the catalogue, size is listed as s,m,l etc, rather than a waist size and leg length.

Wondering if they're made for tall scandinavian sorts which would be a bugger for us shorties.

as a rough guide. A large fits a guy with a 34ish waist and roughly a 29/30 inside leg.

IIRC they are slightly on the long side

I meant to go and look at some Halvarssons stuff a while back, and was advised that some dealers only have bits and pieces, some better than others so worth a call if a bit away I think.

I got them from Skins Cafe in Brackley. They are the only exclusive Halvarssons dealer in the UK and the guy who runs the plae really knows his stuff.

www.skinscafe.co.uk

I normally buy a 32" waist 30" leg for regular everyday jeans and I got a small, they are a little tighter than my normal jeans and the leg is a bit longer but when sat on the bike they are a perfect fit.

Give the guy from Skins a call I am sure he'll be happy to give you some advice, I only went in for a can of pop and ended up chatting to him about gear for nearly an hour

he isn't the only one who is a dealer.
My friend who used to own a bike shop still has an account with them AFAIK.

Tiz where I got all my gear. But then I'm a lucky girlie
