Sv650s Wanted

Hello, I'm new here! Although I've been a long time reader of the site!

Having finally passed my test , I'm looking for a fully faired, pointy SV650S .

I live in London and I have between £2,500 and £2,750 to spend.

Am I being realistic? Has anyone got anything I may be interested in?

Congratulations on passing your test.

Certainly you'll be able to buy a pointy for that sort of money. You need to have a definate idea of what you want IMO. Colour, extras, that sort of thing.

Try and take along a mate who knows about bikes or at the very least will play Devils Advocate. Don't buy the first one you see unless it is a minter

Plenty about.
My advice FWIW is to spend a lot less money on a first bike,and buy an older curvy naked one.Ideal for London traffic,much cheaper to drop,and great to learn on without pressure.

ive got a 4 yr old blue pointy, 34k miles, needs me to stick it through an MOT as i havent used it for 6 months (bought a falco) will be looking for around £1700. PM me if its of interested, your welcome to have a look at it.

I ended up buying a local, pointy SV on a 54 plate.
Fully faired with a scorpion can and tail tidy.

I know of a Blue Curvy 2002 that I in my local area the advert reads

Suzuki SV650S 2002. Blue, long tax and Mot, very low milage, alarm immobiliser. Genuine reason for sale £2000.

Colour picture looks fine, bike looks standard. I'd be happy to look at it first for you. It's in Norfolk, near King's Lynn about 90minutes from Kings Cross on the train (About £35 cheap weekend return) I would be happy to meet you and take you to see it.
