Default GIXXER reg/rectifier fitting

My reg/rectifier has arrived this morning, so will be fitting it when I get home. Could anybody tell me if it is a direct replacement, or I am going to go wire chopping?
It is from a K Series gsxr 1000/750/600.

If you're fitting it to an SV, you'll be chopping a couple of wires.

Curvies had two types of connectors over the years, there was a all in one single connector and then there was the two connector type where one part was the alternator and other the battery/loom. It is possible that one of these connector are the same as you will find on a GSXR, if not, as Baph said you will then need to cut wires which is not hard, all yellows are alternator then you will have red/black for the battery/loom.

I know the reg on my Triumph TT has the same connector as my SV, single connector type.
